Understanding Relaxation Hypnotherapy

by Ben

How many of you want the opportunity of being able to enjoy a relaxation that is practically total and completely rejuvenates you? Just think of the best you have ever felt and know that there is a way by which you can get that feeling everyday. You can get rid of those unwanted feelings that are caused by tension, such as irritation, moodiness, tiredness and negativity. Everyone needs to remove those negative feelings that seem to just pop up during our daily lives. However fear not because there is a way that we can get just what we are looking for. By using Relaxation Hypnotherapy we all can gain the inner peace that only zen masters and monks from Tibet seem to achieve after years of intensive practice. Most people know that marvellous feeling that is achieved after a long day when you immerse yourself into a bath of hot water and for a while you remove yourself from the physical reality and just seem to float on a wave of goodness. All the cares and worries of the world for that perfect moment just disappear and you feel as if everything is perfect. Unfortunately these moments are few and far between.

Relaxation Hypnotherapy is the art of using hypnosis to provide therapy to make your personal relaxation as complete as is humanly possible.

There are many people who are either against hypnosis or do not believe that it could work for them. If you are one of these people then I urge you to continue reading and allow me to show you that hypnosis is a good thing that it is beneficial to you and it can definitely work for you.

Hypnosis is just an altered state of awareness. Once the mind and body are deeply relaxed then the hypnotic state is induced. The hypnotic state occurs naturally and you automatically enter this state many times each day, such as when you become engrossed in reading a book, watching TV, washing the dishes and even driving and reaching your destination without remembering the route you took to get there! Hypnotic or trance states can occur spontaneously both inside the therapy room and in every day life. Hypnosis is a very pleasant and natural process.

Hypnosis is intense focused concentration, with the partial or complete exclusion of awareness of outside distractions. It is important to know that while being hypnotised, you will never do anything against your will. You have probably seen stage hypnotists and you must note that their subject never does anything against their will; they do things in a certain way because they are willing to do so.

In the hypnotic state your subconscious becomes more open to positive suggestions, and you are able to concentrate more easily than in a normal conscious state. Through such concentration your attention is narrowed and more focussed on what is being said to you. You become less aware and distracted by your surroundings and more aware and focussed on yourself. In the hypnotic state, your conscious mind, the part which is always analyzing is quietened, to enable the subconscious mind to come forward and become more accessible. It is your subconscious mind which is responsible for any deep and lasting changes that you choose to make. Relaxation Hypnotherapy is a completely natural therapy.

Relaxation is the opposite of tension and is generally achieved when one is exhausted. However relaxation after exhaustion is not as beneficial as it should be. This is because the body must repair itself first. Relaxation Hypnotherapy provides the means to become totally relaxed without having to go through the exhaustion stage.

By using Relaxation Hypnotherapy these moments can be achieved any where at any time. You can be far more relaxed and comfortable throughout each and every day, before that important meeting even when on your way home. If you can get into that perfect zone then you are totally focussed on the task at hand and you can function far better.
