Earlier this year, in the UK, we saw flurries of snow that for some people prevented or perhaps deterred them from working.
For many that meant spending time with their family and perhaps playing in the snow with their children. Few would argue that the general mood was lifted in the UK briefly not only from the time out but also to some degree from the play and social interaction inspired by the snow.
Even the major news broadcasters picked up on it in their daily programmes.
